A Week at Battersea Power Station: Wind, Warmth, and Wonderful Encounters

Last week, Glamazigh had the pleasure of spending a full week at the iconic Battersea Power Station, and what an experience it was. First, a heartfelt thank you to Your Brand Your Story for giving us the opportunity to be part of such a prestigious space. The venue looked absolutely stunning, especially with the newly installed Christmas decorations, full of warm lights, festive charm, and that magical London sparkle you can’t quite capture in a photo.

During the week, we also had the joy of collaborating with PrettyOasis. Together, we created lovely gift sets and supported one another throughout the event, adding an extra layer of teamwork and warmth to the whole experience.

The atmosphere was incredible, and we found ourselves meeting people from all corners of the world, including visitors from Germany, Kuwait, Canada, France, the US, as well as wonderful locals who made us feel right at home. Some lovely souls truly left their mark, such as Maha, Wahda, Beryl, Kat and her sister, Lisa, and many more who stopped by to support, chat, or simply share a smile.

One of the most heartwarming moments of the week was meeting fellow Amazigh visitors. There’s an instant connection when you meet someone who shares your roots, even in the middle of a bustling venue. A special thank you to Mellina and her mum, whose visit felt like reconnecting with family abroad. Moments like these remind me exactly why Glamazigh was created.

We were also lucky to be surrounded by brilliant stall owners who quickly became part of our daily routine. We shared tips, encouragement, and plenty of laughs, especially as the entrance location brought in a bit more of the fresh London air than expected. Their kindness truly made a difference throughout the week.

To everyone who stopped by, whether you purchased something, said hello, supported us, or even just smiled in passing, thank you from the bottom of our hearts. You made our first Battersea experience meaningful and memorable.

We truly hope to be back this summer, hopefully with sunnier skies, warmer breezes, and even more beautiful encounters.

Until then, tanemmirt, and see you soon. 🤍✨
