What makes this piece of jewelry unique?

This silver cuff bracelet stands out as a wearable piece of history, individually handcrafted by a skilled Amazigh artisan using traditional silversmithing techniques passed down through generations. True to its name, the Akal (meaning "Earth") design features a highly structured layout of heavy, oxidized vertical bands alternated with hand-chiseled tribal sunburst and chevron motifs. The unique character of this piece lies in its tactile, rugged engraving process, where deep-cut lines are deliberately darkened to create a striking contrast against the polished silver. Unlike mass-produced accessories, this unique piece of jewelry carries the soul of North African heritage, grounding ancient nomadic symbols into a sleek, adjustable open-cuff silhouette. When you wear it, you aren't just wearing an accessory—you are connected to a living legacy of indigenous craftsmanship, ensuring that your slim bangle bears the subtle, distinct tool markings of an authentic handcrafted masterpiece.

What are the materials and the origin of this jewelry?

Each engraved bracelet is an authentic piece of wearable history, handcrafted using ancestral North African techniques:

Origin: Handmade in Morocco by native Amazigh artisans (historically referred to as Berber jewelry), preserving centuries of traditional craftsmanship.
Materials: Sculpted from beautiful, high-quality silver, selected for its durability and brilliant finish.
Craftsmanship: Hand-chiseled with intricate geometric patterns and traditional protective symbols characteristic of authentic Amazigh design, making every engraved bracelet completely one of a kind.

How do I care for my jewelry?

Silver naturally tarnishes when exposed to air and humidity. To protect your silver jewelry and keep it shiny, follow these simple care steps:

Daily Clean: Gently wipe with a soft, dry microfiber cloth after wearing. Avoid abrasive paper towels, which can scratch silver surfaces.
Deep Clean: For stubborn tarnish, use a small amount of a clay cleaning stone (like Pierre d'Argent) on a damp, soft sponge. Rub gently, rinse thoroughly with clear water, and dry completely.
Store: Keep your silver pieces in a cool, dry place. An airtight pouch or a lined jewelry box is best to block out moisture and prevent tarnishing.
