What makes this piece of jewelry unique?

This silver ring stands out as a wearable piece of history, individually handcrafted by a skilled Amazigh artisan using traditional silversmithing techniques passed down through generations. The spectacular Baya design is a bold, oversized cocktail ring featuring a dramatic, perfectly circular shield face that commands attention from every angle. The true uniqueness of this piece lies in its vibrant wheel of color, celebrating ancient North African craftsmanship through the intricate art of enamel cloisonné. Delicate silver wire cells are filled with rich enamels in traditional hues of sun-warm yellow, grass green, and cobalt blue, arranged in a mesmerizing geometric sunburst pattern. At its very heart sits an elevated, crown-set faceted stone—available in a fiery crimson red or a deep emerald green—which catches and breaks the light beautifully. The shield is anchored to a comfortable, ribbed wide silver band that ensures stability on the finger. Unlike mass-produced accessories, this unique piece of jewelry carries the festive soul of indigenous heritage. When you wear it, you aren't just wearing an accessory—you are making an unforgettable statement connected to a living legacy of craftsmanship.

What are the materials and the origin of this jewelry?

This enamel ring is an authentic piece of wearable history, handcrafted using ancestral North African techniques:

Origin: Handmade in Morocco by native Amazigh artisans (historically referred to as Berber jewelry), preserving centuries of traditional jewelry-making heritage.
Materials: Sculpted from high-quality silver, chosen for its comfortable daily wear, and detailed with vibrant, handmade enamel.
Craftsmanship: Features stunning Amazigh cloisonné work. The ring's band is hand-shaped and soldered with delicate silver wire patterns, which are then filled with colored enamel and fired to create a durable, glossy finish.

How do I care for my jewelry?

Silver naturally tarnishes when exposed to air and humidity. To protect your silver jewelry and keep it shiny, follow these simple care steps:

Daily Clean: Gently wipe with a soft, dry microfiber cloth after wearing. Avoid abrasive paper towels, which can scratch silver surfaces.
Deep Clean: For stubborn tarnish, use a small amount of a clay cleaning stone (like Pierre d'Argent) on a damp, soft sponge. Rub gently, rinse thoroughly with clear water, and dry completely.
Store: Keep your silver pieces in a cool, dry place. An airtight pouch or a lined jewelry box is best to block out moisture and prevent tarnishing.
