THE STORY BEHIND THE PIECE

Rooted in Amazigh Tradition

Tunaruz — a name that carries in its syllables the resonance of Tamazight, the ancient language of the Amazigh people. Three designs, three symbols, one lineage. The artisans who craft each Tunaruz bracelet are keepers of a geometric tradition that has been expressed in silver, stone, and textile across North Africa for over two thousand years. Choosing your variant is choosing which part of that story you carry forward.

Amazigh Patterns

The geometric language of the Amazigh people is one of the oldest visual traditions on earth — etched into Saharan rock faces over eight thousand years ago, woven into textiles, tattooed onto skin, and hammered into silver and copper across generations. Triangles, diamonds, chevrons, and interlocking lines are not decoration: each form carries encoded meaning — protection, fertility, the mountain, the eye, the path. To wear Amazigh geometric patterns is to wear a script that predates every alphabet.
